Our location

We are situated just outside the town of Lowestoft in Suffolk. Just off the A12 to London and close to the A47 to the north and west. The nearest train station is just 1/4 mile from the boatyard.

Our boatyard is unique in all of Broadland due to its location directly on the edge of a broad. From here we have unrivaled views across more than 130 acres of open water. This makes it the very best place to start a holiday and learn how to handle your floating home from home.

Find us by car

From the North – We are approximately 2hrs from Cambridge. Approaching East Anglia along the A1 and A14, take the A143 at Bury St Edmunds. At Beccles, take the A146 in the direction of Lowestoft. Once in Oulton broad continue along Bridge Road over the railway bridge, first left at the roundabout, and then over the river bridge. At the roundabout directly after the river bridge, by the Wherry Hotel, take the first exit for Commodore Road. At the end of the road, turn left onto Caldecott road. Proceed for approximately 400 yards before taking the first left into Pegasus mews. Topcraft are situated at the end of the road / short track.

From the South – We are approximately 2hrs 15mins from the M25. Driving north along the A12 towards Lowestoft. At Pakefield take the second exit (A117) from the roundabout with large Robinsons VW dealership on the left. Continue in the direction of Oulton Broad on the A117. At the end of the road by the Flying Dutchman public house, turn right at the traffic lights onto Bridge Road (A146). Continue along Bridge Road over the railway bridge, first left at the roundabout, and then over the river bridge. At the roundabout directly after the river bridge, by the Wherry Hotel, take the first exit for Commodore Road. At the end of the road, turn left onto Caldecott road. Proceed for approximately 400 yards before taking the first left into Pegasus mews. Topcraft are situated at the end of the road / short track.

Get to us by train

From the North – Take the main line to Norwich, and then change to the Lowestoft train. Our nearest station is Oulton Broad North, one stop before Lowestoft. If you call 01502 563719 when you are leaving Norwich, we will arrange to collect you from the station.

From the South – Take the main line to Ipswich, and then change to the Lowestoft train. Our nearest station is Oulton Broad South, one stop before Lowestoft. If you call 01502 563719 when you are leaving Ipswich, we will arrange to collect you from the station.

Cruise to us by boat

Simply follow the river Waveney south to Oulton Broad. Topcraft are situated on the north side of the broad, opposite the yacht station.
